The borough of Brooklyn is holding two fundraising events to benefit children and families at the beginning of next month.
The first one to take place will be the Inaugural Gala Fundraiser in support of the Bedford-Stuyvesant Family Health Center. In addition to dinner and drinks, several health professionals working in the Brooklyn area will also be honored.
The Health Center is a new facility that offers free services, including primary care, mental health treatment, and pediatrics.
The following night, the Guild for Exceptional Children is holding its annual Autumn Gala event. It will consist of dinner, dancing, and raffles. Six local people who have made a difference in the community will be celebrated, and sponsorships are available.
The Guild for Exceptional Children provides such programs as early childhood education, day programs, and residential services.
Organizers of both of these events will no doubt be sending out Invitations to those in the community who have supported them in the past. Brooklyn Stationery printers are likely to be tasked with supplying these.
The Health Center inaugural gala is taking place at Glen Terrace on October 9 from 6:00 pm - 11:00 pm. Tickets are $100 each. Call 718-789-1497 to learn more about this event.
