The 2nd annual Brooklyn Eats is taking place today, presented by the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce.
While it is mainly a tradeshow for those in
the food business, it is also open to the general public and is likely to attract wholesalers, buyers and distributors who will want to find out what is new and what they may want to invest in for the coming year.
Those who wish to exhibit at the show can rent a 6 x 7 booth for $500 for chamber members or $650 for non-members. Exhibitors will also be treated to an after-show loft celebration. Sponsorships are also available from $3,000 to $25,000. Among the local companies confirmed are Brooklyn Soda Works, Stuart and Co., Omilk, and Brooklyn Cupcake.
It is likely that, along with food samples, members of the public will receive free Promotional Products or digital Business Cards from each exhibitor they visit. Both of those items may be ordered from Brooklyn Print companies for reasonable prices.
Brooklyn Eats is being held at the Pfizer Building at 630 Flushing today from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm, and the loft celebration will follow it from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm. Tickets for non-trade attendees are $10 each, while those in the trade can get free passes.
