Upcoming conference to inspire freelance workers

The Brooklyn Freelancer's Summit is taking place this April, and is presented by the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce and Liquid Talent.

The aim of the summit is to help local independent workers advance in their chosen career by providing educational sessions and networking opportunities. The day will start off with opening remarks and will then be followed by two breakout sessions. This will be succeeded by a lunch and the event will finish off with a keynote address from a successful Brooklyn freelancer.

The breakout sessions will be an opportunity for freelancers to learn important information about running their own business in today's economy. In addition, they will have the chance to meet their peers and to learn from their successes and failures.

If they do not have them already, many of those attending will likely decide to place a new business card printing order from their favorite printing company. It will give them the opportunity to form partnerships with their peers from all over Brooklyn, including those from Brighton Beach.

The Brooklyn Freelancer's Summit is taking place at the BRIC Arts Media House on April 20 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Tickets are $20 each.
