The chore of holiday shopping might feel a little more fun and rewarding, with an upcoming shopping event having the bonus of doing a good turn for the city’s small businesses.
As the Brooklyn Pop-Up Holiday Bazaar will be held outdoors, everyone will be able to shop in safety. There will be a wide selection of gift ideas on offer, and with many of the makers being on site, the public can talk to them, exchange Business Cards, and learn more about how they craft their works.
Vendors who have already signed on to be a part of the market include beauty and bath products to home decor, and the planners noted they are happy to have more join in the fun. Spaces start at $200 each, and up to two approved vendors may share one spot. The participating companies need to supply their own table, chairs and plain white canopy.
Crafters, makers and other small businesses often count on pop-up markets for a large portion of their annual revenue. Having a stack of high-quality business cards at the ready will make it easy for them to provide their contact details.
This holiday vendor fair is set to be a bounty to gift buyers on Saturday, December 4. The rain date for the function will be December 5.
