More and more of those who call Brighton Beach home are discovering the benefits of an ecofriendly lifestyle, and a local event will offer a day filled with information that can make green choices simple and fun
The annual Go Green Brooklyn! celebration, which will be taking over McCarren Park for one day in early June, will be bringing together a diverse group of vendors, not-for-profit groups and others who make caring for the earth one of their top priorities. There are still spots available for any local companies or organizations keen to participate.
This ecofriendly occasion is expected to attract at least 100 exhibitors, and will take place regardless of the weather. There will be special activities just for the kids, and fitness demos and other classes and workshops are on the agenda. The organizer remarked that the location tends to draw large crowds every weekend, and with an event like this taking place, it is expected to be even more popular.
