A Brighton Beach area library serves as a community hub, and an upcoming activity will show how having a library card can open doors.
Crown Heights Library will be offering the public a chance to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the Culture Pass, and everyone is welcome. It will be family friendly, and there are lots of activities on its agenda.
The library will be partnering with an assortment of community groups, and it will kick off with a story time presented by Brooklyn Botanic Garden. After this, there will be some hands-on crafting. The Brooklyn Music School will lend its talents to the occasion by offering a jazz performance, which will wrap up the experience.
The activity will celebrate the Culture Pass initiative, which is a program that offers free passes for more than 80 theaters, galleries, and museums. It can be reserved using a library card.
