Those looking for employment in Brighton Beach will soon have an opportunity to meet with a wide assortment of potential future employers, all under one roof.
During the Brooklyn Bridge to Employment Career Expo, companies in the financial services, media, technology, healthcare, and government sectors will have representatives on site to meet with the public and discuss the opportunities their business might have. Since they will be speaking face to face, the applicants will have a chance to impress them in person, and they are asked to come dressed for the occasion with their résumé in hand. More than 1,000 positions will need to be filled at the entry and mid-level, and all are welcome to attend.
The fair is being organized by the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce’s Good Help Services, through the support of Epoch Media Group. There will be no fee charged to participate. Those who plan on attending can use digital copying to produce high quality Copies of their résumé and covering letter to bring to an event like this.
The Brooklyn Bridge to Employment Career Expo will be held in Industry City, which can be found at 233 37th Street in Brooklyn, on September 7. It will run from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm, and further details and a chance to register can be found on the Chamber of Commerce’s website.
