The Brooklyn Craft Company has a workshop on offer for Brighton Beach that will teach members of the public a new crafting technique just in time for summer.
The company is set to host a class that will introduce the basics of needle felting, which uses a special barbed tool to transform wool fleece into a finished craft. All skill levels are encouraged to take part, and it will be restricted to those aged 18 and up.
Each of the students in the Needle Felted Pets session will learn about the equipment they need to get crafting, and they will be working with raw wool fiber. Everyone is reminded to bring along a picture of their pet or other favorite animal to sculpt, and the materials needed for the project will be provided. The instructor for the session will be Jessie Wayburn, and tickets to take a seat are $45 each.
A workshop like this may provide an introduction to a particular hobby, but the attendees may walk away eager to learn even more. A brochure printing company can prepare Copies of handouts that include full-color graphics to distribute to the learners before they head for home.
