The Brooklyn Army Terminal (BAT) recently announced that it will be hosting a block style party, and those who call Brighton Beach home are on the guest list for the celebration.
On an afternoon in early September, the public will be heading to the BAT for an afternoon of family-friendly fun. To help make planning the occasion a bit easier, the organizers have requested for everyone interested to RSVP, and the first 250 registrants to arrive for the party will receive a free baseball cap and T-shirt printed with a special graphic design.
Those who attend the function will be able to enjoy a selection of activities such as guided yoga, face painting, kite making, and rock climbing, and there will also be live music to keep the crowd entertained. An art gallery will offer a chance to admire the works of local artists, and the guests can even snag a piece of art that catches their eye to hang in their home or office.
Along with all of the other excitement, the foodies in the crowd may find that the food vendors have lots to offer. A wine and beer garden will be set up for the guests to relax in, and while they do, they can chat with and get to know other members of the community.
BAT will be hosting its 2019 Block Party on Sunday, September 8, scheduled to begin at 12:00 noon.
