Fishing is an activity that families can enjoy together, and a Brighton Beach activity will teach them how to drop their line.
A walk-up event will give families the chance to try their hand at fishing. On offer at Brooklyn Bridge Park Pier 5, it will be facilitated by the Brooklyn Bridge Park education team, and will take place in the afternoon. While RSVPs are not required, they are recommended.
Participants in the session will learn how to use a rod and reel, and it will focus on the fundamentals. They will be taught how to bait their hook and then they will cast off, hoping to land a big one. The fish caught will be released back into the water, and the equipment needed will be provided to the attendees along with the instruction and any other support needed.
Fishing and other outdoor activities can be fun ways for kids to learn about environmental stewardship. A printing service company can provide an assortment of marketing items as well as Copies of handouts and any other materials that will be distributed during an event.
Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy will be offering this introduction to the fun of fishing on Friday, September 13. It will get started at 4:00 pm. The event will not go ahead if the weather is unsuitable.
