When it comes to spicy food, some really do like it hot, and an event that celebrates life’s spicy side is on the way for the Brighton Beach area. It will be all about hot sauce, and it will even include a Guinness World Record attempt.
The activities that are on the agenda for the 2019 NYC Hot Sauce Expo include a variety of eating contests, and there will be lots of opportunities for the participants to put their taste buds to the test. Hot dog, pizza, taco, ramen noodle, and burrito challenges have been planned, and they will all be on the hot side when it comes to spice level.
Hot sauce aficionados at the expo will be able to sample hot sauces from at least 50 different companies, each of which will have its own unique take on the condiment. The “Booze and Infuse” cocktail contest will also be a part of the event, and this will give bartenders and the general public a chance to show off their mixology skills.
