Birding is a hobby that can be enjoyed even in the heart of the city, and a Brighton Beach activity will introduce the public to this peaceful pastime.
The Green-Wood Cemetery offers an oasis of quiet, and is home to many species of birds. Expert Rob Jett will be the guide for an excursion that will visit these feathered friends in their home environment, and it was noted that even though it may be winter, the attendees can still expect to see many species that brave the cold.
The participants will explore the cemetery, and they can expect to see birds ranging from waterfowl to woodpeckers. There may even be some that decided to head north ahead of the crowd, as well as some stragglers that decided to stay behind altogether. The group will move along at a slow pace, and mandatory safety protocols have been put into place that the participants will be expected to observe.
