Brighton Beach area seaside open for the season

New York city’s eight beaches, including those in Coney Island and Manhattan, are once again open for the summer season for residents of Brighton Beach, and the rest of the city a well.

Lifeguard service will be available each day from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm up until Labor Day Weekend, and swimmers are asked to stay out of the water when the guards are not on duty. City Commissioner Silver asked the public to obey the posted regulations and rules and to keep safety in mind when they are having fun in the sun at the beach. A company that provides printing services can design and Print signage for use in situations such as this.

Special events have been planned for Coney Island to help celebrate the season. There will be live music each Saturday, and a Coney Island Alliance Run has been scheduled for July 23. The month of August will see a sand sculpting contest and a volleyball tournament.

Throughout the summer, those who are thinking of spending a day at the seaside will be able to make use of a texting service that gives up-to-the-minute reporting of information, such as water quality and opening times, about the beaches throughout the city. Those who are interested in getting the latest info before they head to the water can text BEACH to 877-877 to find out the current conditions.
