Community Health in Park Slope (CHiPS) will once again be welcoming spring with a special evening, and Brighton Beach is invited to join in the spirit of the occasion.
This will be the organization’s 3rd annual spring gala, and it will honor Susan Fox and Jane Brody, both of whom have made a mark in the community. The proceeds that are raised through the function will be used by CHiPS will help to fund its efforts as a soup kitchen and shelter for women in crisis.
The food that will be served to the guests has been organized by Pete Endriss, who is a CHiPS board member and head baker at Runner & Stone, and there will also be music for the attendees to enjoy. The setting will be the Green Building, the use of which was arranged by Akiva Reich, who is also a board member of CHiPS.
Tickets for the function are being offered to the public for $20 each, and donations to the cause will also be very much appreciated. Decoration, VIP Invitations, printed Menus, table cards and other items for this type of occasion can be crafted by a local printing services provider.
The date for this fundraiser has been set as April 18, and the organizers are hoping that the community will once again be very generous in its support. More details, as well as a chance to buy tickets, can be found on the function’s website.
