Brighton Beach area festival to go hog wild

A day of pork-themed fun is on the agenda for Brighton Beach, and the public is invited to enjoy the celebration.

The 9th annual Porktacular food fest, which will bring together a variety of local chefs, craft brewers and cider makers, will also include music and other entertainment. Kids are welcome, and those under 12 will be admitted free of charge and can quench their thirst with free water.

More than 25 chefs will be preparing the food for this occasion, and both award winning and those who are new to the area are included in the lineup. A tent will be set up where the artisan spirits will be on offer, and there will also be food prepared for vegetarians to enjoy. The event will be taking place rain or shine, and tickets start at $65 each. Special VIP tables of six are available, and a local printing services provider can supply Invitations, Banners, table cards, Menus, signage and other printed materials for this sort of function.

This special occasion, which will involve cooking using wood and fire, will be open to the public on September 8 in Erie Basin Park. Tickets are available for purchase ahead of time, and more information and a link to buy passes can be found on the Food Karma Projects website.
