Brooklyn Botanic Garden will be installing its Lightscape presentation for 2023, and a special benefit evening will be set aside for area families.

The Brighton Beach area attraction has organized an exclusive experience for families, and it will raise funds for the venue’s youth and kids programming. This will be its third year, and it has tended to attract a lot of attention in the past.

Attendees will be able to stroll through displays, and festive attire is highly encouraged. Complimentary cups of hot chocolate and cider will be passed, and the adults will be able to add a little extra kick to theirs if they wish. There will be special performance and photo ops, and the Gardens’ Palm House will be open with refreshments, face painting, and a slime station for the kids to explore.

To thank the families for coming out, and to encourage them to keep coming back to the venue, each ticketholder will receive a gift bag printed with a special graphic design. This will contain a take-home activity, and both members and non-members are encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity to purchase tickets in advance through the Gardens’ website.

The date of this year's Lightscape Family Benefit will be Tuesday, December 5. Its ticketing system was open at the time of writing. Self-parking for the afternoon will be free.
