Brighton Beach anime fans set to celebrate

Fans of Japanese pop culture are invited to be among the crowd at a special Brighton Beach area event that will welcome anime lovers from a large area.

Anime NYC will be a three-day-long celebration of Japanese mass culture, and it will include exhibits, panels, screenings, and other activities, and those who enjoy cosplay are welcome to wear their favorite costume. The atmosphere will be a blend of a festival, movie premier, and pop-up market, and in previous years, it has attracted thousands of attendees.

The gathering, which is organized by Leftfield Media, is open to all ages, but anyone who is 13 or under must be accompanied by an adult. It will be an accessible event, and service animals and assistive mobility devices are welcome. Those who need one can obtain an accessibility bracelet ahead of time, and Print shops can supply these sorts of custom designed Promotional Products.

To help make this a truly community event, the planners are accepting applications from local vendors who would like to sponsor the occasion or set up shop as an exhibitor. An Artists’ Alley will also be set up, and more details about this, as well as the sponsorship and vendor opportunities, can be found on the Anime NYC website.

The 2020 instalment of this celebration of Japanese pop culture will be on offer from November 19 to 21. The Jarvis Center will be the venue for the festivities.
