The 23rd annual Association of Fund-Raising Distributors and Suppliers (AFRDS) Convention and Trade Show is taking place for four days in just over a week’s time. Available to members of the AFRDS only, it seeks to teach them about the latest products available.
The event will consist of seminars, discussion roundtables, and networking receptions. Attendees can also have one-on-one discussions with fundraising coaches on new incentives to attract customers.
The event is the location of the annual AFRDS membership meeting as well. Those interested in showcasing their products or services in the exhibition hall can rent 10 x 10 foot booths for $1,095. No doubt many of them will be providing samples of the type of products that are sold for fundraising reasons. Sponsorships are also available up to $7,000.
The AFRDS is an international association, and its members provide products to nonprofit companies to help raise money. The organization is made up of affiliates like graphic artists and printing companies that provide promotional items like hats and T-Shirts. It is likely that some of those will be located in local areas such as Henderson.
