Henderson will soon play host to a celebration of the culture of America's first peoples, and everyone is invited to join in the festivities.
The city’s annual Indigenous American Heritage Celebration will be filled with sights and sounds bringing native culture to life. Its agenda runs for five hours on its scheduled date, and Water Street Plaza has been chosen to serve as its location.
Admission to the festival will be free, and all ages will be welcome. Attendees can take in the performances of live music, dance, and storytelling, showcasing cultures that go back centuries. A pop-up market will be part of the experience, where the attendees will be invited to shop for art, textiles and other handmade goods. Food will be in the mix as well, and parking can be found nearby.
While service animals may be brought, guests are asked to leave other pets at home. Sunscreen and comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
Informing the public about an upcoming special event can be key to its success, and a poster printing company will be pleased to lend a hand. It can craft everything from Posters to Floor Graphics, Flyers, and other marketing materials.
The 2026 Annual Indigenous American Heritage Celebration will take place next Sunday, November 8, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Its listing on the City of Henderson website provides more information.
