Henderson families will be joining others all across the country this March in an activity that will encourage them to disconnect from their digital devices and head outdoors.
The City of Henderson has a variety of activities on its calendar for 2026, and its outdoor Family Night that celebrates National Unplugging Day is one of them. It is scheduled for Whitney Mesa Recreation Area and Nature Preserve, and it will offer two hours of outdoor fun away from devices.
The plans for the evening include an assortment of interactive family games and other activities, and expert-led hikes around the Mesa area will provide an opportunity to learn about the area's ecology. Kids aged seven and up may try their hand at an archery experience, and as the sun goes down, everyone can gather around the campfire for some freshly made s’mores and stories. The registration fee starts at $5 and financial assistance is available for families in need.
An outdoor event may require signage that can withstand being exposed to the elements. A banner printing company will have a variety of options, including stands that allow the user to swap the Banners for different occasions.
Henderson will be hosting this evening of unplugged family fun on Friday, March 6. It will officially kick off at 5:30 pm and run until 7:30 pm. Get a Free Quote for Banners
