Henderson will soon be the venue for an event that will offer guests a day of deliciousness while supporting a cause that helps families throughout the area.
Desserts in the Desert will feature a wide assortment of sweet delicacies prepared by chefs from local bakeries, cafes restaurants, and other eateries. Along with the extensive selection of treats for the sweet tooth, there will be wine parings that will have been chosen to complement each offering. Craft beers and other cocktails will also be on offer.
The event will be family friendly, and along with the food, there will be live music and an assortment of other activities that have been chosen to be fun for all ages. Life-sized games and other excitement will be on the agenda, and prizes will be awarded. It has been organized by Live to Give group, and the proceeds will be donated to Nevada PEP, which is a group that supports and empowers children and others in the community who have physical, emotional, mental, and developmental challenges.
