As people across the world prepare to switch their Calendars over to 2017, New Year’s Eve is a time when many adults get together to have a midnight party. Not to be left out, children in Henderson are getting ready for their own celebration.
Rad Tad’s New Year’s Bash is a family friendly event that gives younger people the thrill of counting down to ‘17.
To keep the time child friendly, the event will take place at 11:00 am rather than pm. The centerpiece of the event will be a countdown to midday, at which point guests will be able to have a toast of a sparkling, non-alcoholic beverage. The countdown will be accompanied by an aquatic ball drop, and visitors can munch on some sweet snacks while they sing Auld Lang Syne.
Before the countdown, attendees will be able to enjoy some wet, splashing fun. The pool will be available for open swimming, and a variety of activities will also be organized. Rad Tad will be there for the swim and the countdown, lending a lighthearted air to all of the proceedings.
