The 67th annual Boulder City Damboree Celebration is taking place this Independence Day. The theme for this year is ‘Great Americans: The Next Generation’.
To start off the day, the Rotary Club will be hosting a pancake breakfast at Bicentennial Park. This will be followed by a fly-past by the Boulder City Veterans’ Flying Club and the start of the parade, which will travel down the Nevada Highway to Fifth Street and then on to Broadbent Memorial Park.
Once in the park there will be a variety of activities taking place. First will be the opening ceremony, which will include the flag raising, the singing of the national anthem, and the awarding of parade trophies. The day will feature a water play zone, various contests, music from DJ Mike Pacini, and a fireworks display.
A variety of local nonprofit groups will be hosting booths and providing food, drink, and activities for people of all ages.
No doubt this event may attract visitors from nearby communities such as Henderson. Local Stationery printers might be asked to provide advertising materials like Flyers and Booklets to ensure as many people know about it as possible.
