Henderson households that have items they’d like to sell or who enjoy finding a “new to you” bargain may want to check out the schedule of a series of local garage sales.
The city will be organizing a series of pop up markets, and the public is welcome to participate. Admission for the shoppers will be free, and there will be a wide assortment of goods in the mix.
The activities will be held in recreation centers around Henderson, and the one planned for early March will feature both handmade crafts and vintage items. Toys, Books, clothing and other choices will be in the mix, and while they shop, they will be showing their community spirit.
The registration system for the markets has been opened to those who would like to book a table, and they will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. A waitlist may be available if all the spots are filled, and the fee being charged depends on the date.
Pop up events may depend on effective marketing materials for success. A poster printing company may be called on to help by providing a variety of ways to build the buzz.
Henderson’s winter sale series is on now and will run until March 15th. More information about the timings and locations is available on the city’s website.
