Henderson’s Black Mountain Recreation Center is set to be transformed into a party zone that will celebrate local kids returning to their classes.
The Back to School Bash is on the way, and the festivities will include dinner and a variety of hands-on fun. Tickets for the festivities start at $10 each, and it is geared towards youth ages five and up.
Guests at the party will be able to try out the carnival-style games set up in the venue’s Meeting Room A, and they can also kick off their shoes and spend some time in the bounce houses. There will be an opportunity to make crafts and just sit back and take in the music and other entertainment. For planning purposes, every family interested will need to submit an RSVP in advance.
To help make sure each local scholar has the materials they need for the upcoming academic years, Backpacks of school supplies, such as promotional Pens and other materials, will be distributed. Attendees will be able to take them home with them.
The date for this kick-off to another academic year will see the fun get started at 4:30 pm on Saturday, August 10. Registration for the celebration closes on August 5, and a link for this can be found on the Henderson website.
