Henderson to host schedule of pop-up yard sales

Spring is fast approaching, and in Henderson, that means it is almost time for the yard sale season to kick off for another year.

The City of Henderson recently announced that it will be getting a jump start by hosting several pop-up rummage sales in March, and these will help breathe new life into gently used items. Those who enjoy upcycling and recycling items may find plenty to catch their interest.

Three yard sales have been scheduled for the month, one of which will also feature handmade crafts. People are welcome to book a table, starting at $20 each. Spots are expected to be snapped up quickly, so anyone interested is urged to book theirs well in advance. Spaces will be allocated on a first come, first served basis and admission for the shoppers will be free of charge.

A yard sale provides a way for households to get rid of unwanted items and maybe even make a bit of money doing so. A flyer printing company can offer a variety of ways to keep the public informed about events on offer in their hometown.

The first March garage sale on the list for Henderson is scheduled for Saturday, March 2 at the Black Mountain Recreation Center, beginning at 7:00 am. Further sales will be held on the following two Saturdays, March 9 and 16.
