A Henderson activity will greet 2021 with a low-key celebration as an antidote to the traditional New Year’s Eve noise and lights.
A midnight hike will walk the McCullough Hill Trail, and those who take part will be treated to some spectacular views of the valley and all its lights. Those age five and up are encouraged to join the fun, but minors will need to have a parent or guardian come along with them.
The registrants will meet up at the entrance to the Anthem East Trailhead, and once everyone has arrived, the group will head out. They will be able to watch the city’s fireworks display from a unique vantage point, and everyone is reminded to wear sturdy walking shoes and bring lots of water, and maybe a snack as well. Pets, other than service animals, will not be permitted.
