Henderson to get in the swim of things

Henderson is preparing for the arrival of spring by hosting an egg hunt, but unlike a traditional version of this activity, it will take place underwater.

The Heritage Park Aquatic Complex will be offering the Easter Bunny a helping hand by hiding hundreds of eggs in its pool. Kids who participate will be challenged to find as many as they can. These dives will be organized by age, and are part of a larger celebration.

The activity is open to all ages but kids who need a lifejacket must remain within an arm's reach of their accompanying adults at all times. The eggs can be exchanged for prizes and other treats, and this will be paired with other fun such as arts and crafts and enjoying light refreshments.

The fee for the experience is $5.00 each, and everyone is reminded to bring along a basket or other container to hold their finds.

Communities that offer seasonal events will be able to order any printed materials they require directly from a printing services company. They will be able to offer a wide selection of options for almost any budget.

This kick-off to the springtime season will hit the pool on Sunday, April 9. Anyone who has questions or needs further details is asked to visit the function’s web listing.
