A frightfully good time is on the way for Henderson’s scrap book makers, and it will give local crafters a chance to enjoy themselves during an activity with a Halloween theme.
The Hocus Pocus Scrapbook and Craft Day event will welcome area makers, and they are encouraged to wear a costume if they would like to do so. A trick-or-treat parade is one of the activities on the agenda, and there will be at least 13 hours of crafting built into its schedule.
Each registrant will be given the use of a six-foot table, and a Thanksgiving-style feast is included in the ticket price. Coffee and water will be available throughout the day, and all the participants can join in the costume contest, decorate their table, or try their hand at the games. Everyone will go home with some special Corporate Gifts prepared for the occasion, and tickets for the occasion are $65 each.
This function is being presented thanks to the efforts of the Scrap Society. Its listing explained that it will be a one-day-only event, but the group hosts weekends and other multi day crafting experiences throughout the year.
The Hocus Pocus Scrapbook and Craft Day will be offered on Saturday, October 29, and the Best Western Henderson has been booked for the occasion. The registration process can be completed through the Society’s website.
