Even though summer has drawn to a close, Henderson will still be red hot thanks to an upcoming automotive-themed event.
Henderson Hot Rod Days is set for this coming October, and it will be two days of fun on two and four wheels. One of the area’s most popular events, it will be on offer thanks to assistance from the Boulder City Cruisin' Association.
During the celebration, Water Street will be transformed into a showcase of 600 vehicles. Classic car fans will find plenty to catch their interest, and muscle cars and motorcycles will also be in the mix. To add even more fun to the weekend, local bands will be performing for the crowd, and the establishments along Water Street will be open for business. There will also be a vendor market with around 30 pop-up shops. While certified assistance animals will be welcome, the organizers ask for pets to be left at home.
To thank the vehicle owners for sharing their pride and joy with the crowd, awards will be presented to the top entries. A printing services company’s graphic design team can prepare custom trophies, dash plaques, and other prizes for an automotive-themed event.
The organizers of Henderson Hot Rod Days have scheduled the celebration for Friday, October 4 and Saturday, October 5. Admissions to the public will be free, and additional information is available on the city’s website.
