Henderson plans visit to butterfly habitat
Members of Henderson’s disabled community have been offered seats in an activity that will introduce them to some of the area's most colorful insects.
A trip to the Butterfly Habitat has been planned by the city, and the registrants will meet up at the Henderson Multigenerational Center before they head out for the evening. Specially catering for those living with a disability over the age of 14, the participation fee starts at $25.
The group will be traveling to the Springs Preserve to view its butterfly habitat and see the colorful flyers visiting its plants. After this, the group will go for a bite to eat at Springs Cafe, and the transportation, admission, and supervision are all included. Everyone who signs up is asked to bring money so they can purchase their snack.
Offering activities for disabled people helps to make sure every community member feels valued and included. Stationery printers can provide a range of products, such waivers and information sheets, and also specialized printing services such as Braille.
Saturday, November 8 will see this visit to Springs Preserve on offer. The outing will run for three hours, and everyone is asked to be at the meet up point by 5:30 pm sharp. Registration can be completed on the City of Henderson website up until Thursday, November 6.
