Those who want to make sure they are well prepared for the arrival of their new baby have been invited to join with others in a class that will equip them with knowledge they can use to have a positive birth experience.
Henderson Hospital will be hosting the classes, which will be held on two consecutive Wednesday evenings. The topics covered have been chosen to help give the students information in a variety of areas that are related to the birth process and care of a newborn.
The participants will learn about what to expect during the different stages of labor and the delivery of their baby. Details will be shared about the different options for pain management and also effective relaxation techniques. Along with this, there will be a discussion of what can happen when some additional medical assistance, such as a Caesarian section, is required for the health and safety of the mother or baby.
The registration fee for this learning opportunity is $50 for each couple, and space has been allotted for seven couples to participate. A printing services provider can provide teaching materials to use during this sort of occasion.
The Henderson Hospital - Childbirth Basics class will begin on July 11. The facility’s website includes ore information along with details of how to register to take part.
