The organizers of a Henderson fundraiser want to help make the load a little bit lighter for children living with cancer.
The Saddle Up for Kids fundraising event has been rescheduled to this coming February, and it will support the work of The Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation. This group supplies a variety of programming, and the agenda for the function includes an auction as well as dinner and entertainment.
The evening will open with a mixer so all the guests can meet one another, and the suggested attire is cowboy and cowgirl chic. Masks are mandatory, and tickets start at $200. Everyone is asked to consider bringing along a donation of a bottle of wine priced at no less than $50, as these will be included as items for the live auction.
To help make this function a big success, the planners have reached out to the local corporate community. There are several sponsorship opportunities on offer, and these will all give these civic minded businesses a chance to have their Logo Design seen by a large crowd.
The Saddle Up for Kids fundraiser has been rescheduled to February 21 and tickets are on sale now. The DragonRidge Country Club Ballroom at MacDonald Highlands will be hosting the celebration, and the doors will open to ticket holders starting at 5:30 pm.
