Henderson households offered spots in huge yard sale

Environmental stewardship can be as simple as taking part in a community garage sale, and one of these activities will provide this opportunity to those in Henderson.

Participants in the Giant Garage Sale popping into the Black Mountain Recreation Center in September will be able to sell, browse through, and buy hundreds of items, with gently used, vintage, and antique items all included. All items will be second hand, with no new items permitted

Anyone who would like to set up shop in the activity can book their space ahead of time, and these will be assigned randomly. Each booth space is equivalent to two parking spots, and these must be booked no later than one week ahead of the sale’s scheduled date. The fee to do so is $20.

This community market is open to all ages, and no admission fee is being charged. Inexpensive booth decor may help a seller in a pop-up market to attract the attention of the crowd, and this can be ordered from area poster printing companies.

This kick off to the September yard sale calendar is on the way for Henderson for September 2. As its doors will open at 7:00 am, those with an eye for a bargain may want to arrive as early as possible to snap up some of the best offerings.
