A Henderson event that will serve those who served has been planned for late April, and it is set to be hosted at the Heritage Park Senior Facility.
The organizers of the Veterans Resource Fair have put together an activity they hope will provide a lot of value to the former military members who come out. It is for all ages, and families of vets may attend as well.
The function will give veterans, community service and advocacy organizations an opportunity to connect. They can discuss their needs and find out what these groups have to offer, and there are other service providers on hand as well. Housing, benefits and other topics will all be on the agenda. Everyone can enjoy the free BBQ lunch.
Resource fairs can provide a one-stop shopping experience, as they bring a large number of organizations, businesses, and services together under one roof.
