A Henderson event will recognize the efforts of some of Immunize Nevada’s healthcare advocates, and tickets are now available for this gala occasion.
During the annual Silver Syringe Awards and Fundraiser evening, guests will celebrate the role that immunization has played in the health of the state. It will also pay homage to some of Nevada’s healthcare providers and their partners who are on the frontlines in the success of these initiatives to battle a variety of communicable diseases.
During the function, the attendees will have a chance to mingle and network, and there will also be a dinner program where Jason Mendelsohn, who is an HPV cancer survivor, will address the crowd. A raffle will also be held where an assortment of prizes will be given away.
The funds raised during this event will be used by Immunize Nevada to help meet the expenses of its various outreach programs and other efforts. The planners noted that it is the only organization in the state that is solely dedicated to immunization initiatives. Banner printing for this type of function can be provided by a printer in the area.
The Dragon Ridge Country Club in Henderson will be the venue for this fundraiser, and it will be held on April 26. More details about the event are available on the host’s website.
