Families and bicycle enthusiasts in Henderson and the surrounding areas are gearing up for the Crazy Spokes Guided Ride event. The morning-long activity will combine healthy, freewheeling fun with food and community.
Participants have two different possibilities to choose from: they can either go on a 15-mile guided ride running through downtown Henderson and some of the local parks, or a five-and-a-half-mile family fun ride providing a more leisurely and fun tour of the downtown area. All attendees will be responsible for bringing their own bicycles, helmets, and other safety equipment. All bicycles must be up to city regulations to participate in the ride.
Afterwards, all cyclists will join together for a free lunch provided by the city, the exact menu for which has not yet been announced. Additionally, all participants will get a free commemorative T-shirt bearing a special Logo Design for the event. This is all part of the city’s Bike Henderson initiative, which was enacted to help make Henderson a more bicycle-friendly community.
Crazy Spokes will take place on April 8 starting at 9:00 am at the Henderson Events Plaza, located at 200 S.
