Families in Henderson are hoping to have a howling good time at Haunted at the Ranch. The event combines classic Halloween activities with crafts, activities, and more.
The highlight of the event is a Haunted house which Flyers describe as ‘spine-tingling’. For the younger visitors, or those who are younger at heart, a less frightening version is also available, with friendlier monsters, brighter lights, and less graphic scenery.
A trick or treat trail will also be available for participants with a sweet tooth. The small maze like area will be set up with small houses and other locations where children can get the joy of trick or treating in an indoor setting.
On top of the haunted houses and candy, the evening will also have some bounce houses set up for different age groups. Carnival games will also be available, with small stuffed animals and other prizes available to those willing to test their skill and luck. Lastly, a craft station will be around as well, with a number of interesting items for children to make, decorate, and take home with them.
Haunted at the Ranch will take place on October 28, starting at 7:00 pm at the Whitney Ranch Recreation Center, located at 1575 Galleria Dr. Admission is free, and children under eight must be supervised by an adult. Anyone interested in more info should contact the Henderson Parks and Recreation Department.
