Dubbed ‘Henderson Family Equality Day’, the activity will have a focus on the diverse range of families that call the city home. The Water Street Plaza Based festival will be free to attend, and it will be an interactive experience.
The guests at the function will be able to have their face painted by one of the volunteers, and there will also be chalk drawings and a craft fair that is filled with works created by local makers. Everyone can enjoy the spoken poetry, and the crowd will also be invited to participate in an art project.
Along with all of the activities, the day will feature an opportunity for the public to connect with representatives from a variety of community resources.
