An all-ages egg hunt is set to welcome Henderson families, and everyone is encouraged to hop on in.
Henderson Equality Center is preparing for a day of family-friendly fun, and the Easter Bunny will be hiding an assortment of treats for the kids to find. This will be the first year the function has been offered, and to help maximize its impact, several community not-for-profit organizations have signed on to take part.
Along with the egg hunt, attendees will be able to browse through booths that provide information about an assortment of community resources, and everyone can stop by the themed photo booth as well. A raffle will feature 75 baskets filled with Easter treats and other goodies, and to help make the celebration accessible to all, no admission fee is being charged.
An activity like this often depends upon the generous spirit of volunteers, and the organizers have put out a call to anyone who would like to help. A local printer that prepares Promotional Products will be able to offer a variety of items that can be purchased to give to each of these helpers to thank them for lending a hand.
The first ever Henderson Equality Center Easter Egg Hunt will be bringing the fun to the community on April 3. Doors will open at 11:00 am.
