An event that brings a touch of the Christmas season to Henderson during the heat of summer will be returning this July for its second year. It will draw crafters and artisans from a wide area, and will raise funding and other assistance to animals in need.
The Vegas Arts and Crafts Expo, which will have a holiday theme and feel, will give vendors a chance to show off their products to a large group of potential customers who want to do some browsing and buying. Both residents and visitors alike are welcome.
The day will open with a Christmas tree lighting at 10:00 am, and after this, there will be raffles and prize draws taking place every 30 minutes. At least 20 vendors will be included, and admission is free.
To thank the community for their support of this event, the organizers will be making a contribution to C.A.T.S., which is a local not-for-profit-group that helps the furry, feathery, or scaled members of the community in need of a helping hand. The shoppers are asked to bring a donation of pet food or other supplies to help the cause.
