Midwives have performed a valuable service to women throughout the centuries, and a celebration of the practice will soon welcome delegates to the Henderson area.
This May, an event will take place that recognizes the role midwives have played in supporting women and families through pregnancy, birth and beyond. Tickets are $60 each, and the Bottega Exchange in Las Vegas has been selected to act as the venue for the day.
The function will kick off with a breakfast where the attendees can take in a presentation and learn more about their craft. A variety of speakers has been booked, and roundtable topic discussions are on the agenda. There will be a recognition ceremony for some long-standing area midwives, and to help maximize the impact of the activity, a variety of local vendors will have a booth or table set up on site.
A symposium or other organized activity gives those who work in a profession a chance to learn from one another as well as subject matter experts. Swag for these events may be ordered from a Print shop, which will have a wide selection of promotional Pens and other Corporate Gifts on offer.
The International Day of the Midwife symposium is scheduled for the morning May 7. It will begin at 9:00 am, and wrap up at 1:00 pm.
