Henderson individuals and households who care about the environment will be able to show the Earth some love when they attend a special local event.
The organizers of Eco-topia recently announced that the celebration will be going ahead as planned, and there will be a wide assortment of opportunities for the public to get involved. It will combine retail therapy with opportunities to learn and help others, and there will be ways for the attendees to roll up their sleeves and make an impact.
The plans for the day will see lots of booths set up by local businesses and non-profit groups, and the Vitalant mobile blood donor clinic will be parked on site. The kids can learn about environmental stewardship by trying their hand at the games and other activities, and with a shopping area set up, everyone can show some support to area small businesses.
The planners of the occasion want to spread the word that there may still be spaces for both sponsors and vendors to join the fun. Those that do will be able to distribute eco-friendly Corporate Gifts to the crowd.
