The 16th annual Wine Soiree is taking place very soon, raising funds for the programs supported by the men of Kappa XI Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity.
This is being advertised as a "classy, lively and fun affair". Guests will enjoy unlimited tastings of a variety of wines and hors d'oeuvres. Music will be provided during the evening by a DJ and there will be additional entertainment taking place in the Onyx Room and Montrose Room. Door prizes will also be handed out during the event.
The Fraternity raises funds to support educational projects; it also provides financial support to those who need it as well as helping to feed families. This fundraiser will help programs that benefit youth in Clark County.
No doubt many members, and not members, will take the short trip to Henderson to attend this important annual event. It is also expected to attract members from all over the country, and it’s likely that printed Invitations and tickets were provided by local printing companies.
The Wine Soiree will be held at the Dragon Ridge Country Club in the Grand Highlands Ballroom this Saturday, August 1, from 7:30 pm until shortly after midnight. Tickets are $65 each in advance or $70 at the door. To find out more about this event call 775-285-7045 or visit the Facebook page.
