Tavern welcomes summer with tasting night

Later this month, the Railyard Tavern will be hosting a wine and beer tasting with dinner at its location in Fair Lawn.

No doubt the eatery is using poster printing and flyer printing to let interested wine and beer drinkers to know about the event and allow them to make plans for the special evening.

According to the owner of The Railyard Tavern, Bob Piccoli, the restaurant has been holding smaller wine tastings on a monthly basis, and the response has been such that the restaurant has decided to provide customers with the opportunity to taste some of the tavern’s craft beers as well.

A press release explains that there will be eight craft beers, eight domestic wines, and eight international wines available for sampling, with responsible tasting sizes. The dinner is a buffet with salad, penne pasta, shrimp primavera, and lemon chicken.

The décor at the Railyard is reminiscent of the days of steam train locomotives, but has been updated by Poccoli to a gray and blue design, complete with a newly decorated bar. The menu features steaks, pizza, and other favorites with specials determined by the fresh foods available on any given day.

The wine and beer tasting dinner will be held June 16, at 7:00 pm. Those looking to book their place can call the Railyard at 201-773-3372.
