The Old Library Theatre, the resident theater company of the Fair Lawn Recreation Department, will be presenting the musical comedy, ‘It's a Bird... It's a Plane... It's Superman!’ later this month.
The show is a takeoff on the popular comic book character. The storyline centers on Superman’s efforts to protect Metropolis from numerous villains, including a highly insane gossip columnist, a mysterious clan of underemployed acrobats, and a mad scientist. The musical tale can be enjoyed by the entire family.
Craig Tiede is the director of the production, Gregory Paradis directs the music, and Tabitha Boulding has created the choreography.
Started in 1967, the Old Library Theatre is a community theatre organization with a goal of producing quality shows at an affordable price, while showcasing performers of all ages, ethnicities, and stages of development. Originally located on River Road, its current location in the George Frey Center for Performing Arts is a state-of-the-art 170-seat theater.
Performances will be April 16 to 18 at 8:00 pm each nigh, with a matinee on Saturday, April 18 at 2:00 pm at the Fair Lawn Community Center. The Old Library Theatre may have turned to a local Print company to create a colorful poster to generate enthusiasm for the show and attract as many people as possible to attend.Get a Free Quote for Print
