Several full-service summer camps have been launched by the Glen Rock Community School. Glen Rock is sufficiently close to Fair Lawn that students here might be interested in attending these camps over the summer.
The Busy Bee Day Camp is offered to kids in grades kindergarten through three. During the morning, there are two activities that include sports, such as flag football, and volleyball; arts and crafts; technology and science; and karate. Swimming lessons are held on Friday afternoons and Friday morning there is a field trip to go bowling. The program runs for eight weeks beginning June 24.
A new camp this summer is Art Camp for grades two through five. The camp is during the morning, and campers have the chance to explore drawing, painting, and sculpting with clay, among others. There are two two-week sessions, one beginning on July 8 and the other on July 22, with each session ending in a special exhibition of the artwork done during the camp that is open to family members.
Brochure printing can be used to provide more information about such camps others that are new or returning this summer.
Among the other new camps are a Sewing Camp for grades three through seven; a STEM camp for grades one through six where the curriculum is grade specific, and 12 different sports camps.
