The Glen Rock Chamber of Commerce is planning to host its Street Fair later this month. Residents of Fair Lawn will want to attend this special event.
The Street Fair will be hosted by local businesses and will be held along Rock Road. The road will be closed to vehicular traffic for most of the day.
The promoter of the event is StreetFairs.org. The Street Fair will feature live entertainment, and booths will line the street with businesses selling their crafts, artwork, products, and services. Food from local vendors is also expected to be at the fair. It is an event that enables businesses to create a temporary storefront and to meet face to face with customers in a single day.
This will be a family-friendly event. The Chamber is hoping that it will bring people out and help to re-spark business in the borough, especially since the last Street Fair was over two years ago.
It may also contribute to the prosperity of local Print shops as, as businesses like to create Flyers with more information about their products and services in preparation for events like this. They often also often leave out Business Cards so people can take away reminders of vendors.
The Street Fair is planned for Sunday, September 19 and will run from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.
