New senior living facility to come to Fair Lawn

Construction on the Chelsea at Fair Lawn, the first independent memory care and assisted living community in the town, is currently underway.

This project is a joint venture between Chelsea Senior Living and Trammell Crow Company (TCC), one of the largest investors in, and developers of, commercial real estate in the country.

The facility will be three stories high and have 93 units, of which 67 will be for memory care and assisted living and 26 will be for independent living. Among the amenities will be three meals a day prepared by an executive chef, professional services offered 24 hours a day, daily activities, and housekeeping and laundry services. There will also be concierge services, a full beauty salon, and theme parties and events. Underground parking will be provided for independent living residents. Brochure printing is often used to outline further the amenities and features of such residential communities.

Cheri Clarke-Doyle of the Northeast Metro Business unit of TCC expressed pleasure in partnering with Valley Bank and Chelsea Senior Living on the first senior community on northern New Jersey. Clarke-Doyle added that this new facility will meet the needs of the senior population in the town, which is looking for a high-quality living environment for the next chapter of their lives.

Chelsea at Fair Lawn is expected to open by the end of this year.
