The Hurdy Gurdy Folk Music Club has been bringing the best folk music to Fair Lawn for over 30 years, and has announced its events for the New Year
The theater has professional lighting, comfortable seating, and a state-of-the-art sound system, lighting, and acoustics.
On January 6, at 8:00 pm, Michael Braunfeld, Honor Finnegan, and Abbie Gardner will perform. There will be a 20-minute set by each performer.
Braunfeld is known as a storyteller whose songs capture the everyday struggles of everyday people. He has performed at Blue Bird Café, folk competitions, and festivals.
Finnegan entertains audiences with her humorous and heartbreaking songs. She plays the ukulele and combines various elements in her work, and is also a preschool special educator.
Gardner plays the Dobro guitar. She has toured with the Red Molly, performed with different bands around the world, and has three CDs to her name.
On February 3, Lara Herscovitch and The Levins will perform. Joe Jencks and Si Kahn will be on the billing on March 3.
The concession stands sells snacks and beverage at the , and the theater sells support cards in place of memberships.
